Our Firm

Laurence R. Dry, M.D., J.D. & Associates limits its practice to areas of medical malpractice and other cases where the backgrounds of our lawyers enhance the probability of success for our clients. Because of our medical knowledge and experience, we prefer to take cases in the fields of personal injury or wrongful death where the injury has resulted from medical devices, pharmaceutical products or the negligence of healthcare providers. Aside from representing injured patients, we occasionally represent members of the medical and nursing community when they encounter difficulties with credentials or licensure.

We act on the premise that our clients deserve vigorous representation. We screen our cases carefully before agreeing to representation. Our medical cases are then developed with the help of others in the medical community, sparing no reasonable expense.

Many of our cases are referred by other attorneys whom we gladly assist. Despite being licensed only in Tennessee, we have worked on a case-by-case basis in most of the states in the Southeast and Midwest with the permission of the courts in those states.

Ours is a small firm with an abundance of very capable support personnel. We are geared to the representation of seriously injured persons and those who we believe have wrongfully died. We do not accept representation of persons with minor injuries, minor auto accidents, or workers' compensation injuries without substantial permanent disability. We concentrate on a relatively small number of cases chosen on the basis of the seriousness of the injury and the importance of the issues of a given case.
